I wasn’t born in the ranching business, but I’ve always loved horses and cowboy stuff, so I like to think that I got here as fast I could.

I grew up in the city, but after falling in love with ranching (and a cowboy), my life changed direction.

Today, I’m a first-generation rancher raising cattle (and three blue-eyed boys) in the western U.S. Along the way, I’ve worked on some of the largest beef operations in the country, handling everything from calving to genetics to management decisions.

That unusual perspective gives me the ability to see ag differently than those born into it — and to translate it for people outside of it.

I’m a rancher who also works in brand strategy. I know how decisions get made on the ranch. Real conditions, real pressures, real dollars. That’s what informs every project I take on.
